Crafted from custom premium pine lumber, surfaced on all four sides (S4S). The frame is constructed of S4S (true 2" x 4" boards) with S4S posts (true 2-1/2" x 2-1/2") not found in your traditional hardware store lumber. The arms and back support are traditional 2X4s that are secured by mortise and tenon joinery.
Choosing the rope option: Four, 1-inch Pro-Manila ropes that are whipped at both ends to prevent fraying.
Choosing your paint color. We use Sherwin Williams Pro Industrial Exterior paint that is a water based alkyd urethane enamel to give you a showcase semi-gloss finish. This allows for the swing to be cleaned easily.
